Anh Dillon

Ballet

ABT NTC Ballet Program Director

Anh Dillon began her classical ballet education at the Conservatoire Niedermeyer in Paris, France. Continuing in Brussels, Belgium, she had the great opportunity to train under Nicole Karys, a former dancer with Bejart’s Ballet du XXieme Siècle and Menia Martinez, of the Cuban National Ballet and the Ballet du XXeme Siècle.

She later expanded her training to contemporary dance forms, giving her the versatility to professionally join contemporary ballet and contemporary jazz companies as a soloist and principal dancer. She’s worked extensively in both the concert and commercial scenes (Usher, Redken, PBS). Anh is the recipient of a Lester Horton Award for best performance and had the great opportunity to choreograph for music artist Prince.

Anh’s teaching experience spans over two decades. She has been a part of the Industry Dance Academy family since its inception, has been a recurrent teacher for the Joffrey Ballet School summer intensives and audition tours since 2013, recently joined the ABT Gillespie School’s faculty in California, and travels worldwide for master classes. Anh is an American Ballet Theatre Certified Teacher through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
